Terms and conditions for customers buying paintings and deliverable items online from John Pegg Paintings.

Reproduction Quality
I try and be as accurate as possible with photos of work displayed, however the quirks of technology, such as colour reproduction, colour settings of your device, etc, means there may be some differences between the image and the actual piece of work.

Medium and Materials
All paintings are oil on board unless otherwise stated and approximate dimensions are given, height before width. Unless otherwise stated, the paintings have limed wooden frames. All information is given on each image.

Availability
This site is a selected portfolio of work by John Pegg, many of which are for sale, and others of which are sold or unavailable. Items for sale are the original pieces, not reproductions or copies.

If we receive payment for an item that has already sold, but its displayed information not yet updated accordingly, you will receive a full refund, and our apologies, as soon as possible.

Pricing Policy
Prices range from £85 – £1,000 approx. Unless otherwise stated. The correct price is the one shown on the website, when you order it. An exception would be where we’ve made a genuine mistake – and priced an item incorrectly (a misplaced decimal point, for example). In the unlikely event of this happening you can return the item (or items) within 14 days, in its original condition, and we will give you a full refund.

Payment
Payment is by PayPal, your account is debited when it’s processed by PayPal. We don’t receive or store details of your debit or credit cards, or your bank account.

If you can only pay by another method, such as cheque payment in advance or cash on collection, please contact us to discuss this. The item can only be dispatched or collected after we receive cleared funds.

Delivery
We don’t deliver personally, but use reliable third-party mail or courier services – Royal Mail for example. As such, delivery is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the delivery service used. We provide free postage and packing for standard delivery. Please contact us for costs for your specialised delivery preferences (e.g. guaranteed next-day).

Returns Policy
We’ll issue a refund for the price of any item that doesn’t meet with your satisfaction. For which please return the item to us within 14 days, undamaged and in its original packaging or other packaging suitable for protection in transit. We don’t pay for return postage.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancellation
Under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund, apart from items personalised for you (commissions, etc). Personalised products are bespoke and made to your specification, if you want to cancel a personalised order/commission, we will be as helpful as we can –  but if it’s at an advanced stage cancellation may not be possible, in which case we may ask for part payment apportioned according to progress.

If an item has already reached our despatch channel and it is too late to stop it being sent to you, we ask that you return it to us as soon as possible. If we haven’t received it within 14 days, we’ll assume you want to keep it.

Data Protection
If you’re a registered user then we store the details you’ve provided to make the checkout process easier next time you buy from us.

You may occasionally receive email news directly from us, detailing new works, exhibitions, and news we think you might be interested in. However you can unsubscribe from this news any time, without affecting your registration to the site. You can also unregister from the site whenever you like, by sending an email to john@johnpegg-paintings.co.uk

We do not provide any data about you or your purchasing to any third party organisation or individual.

Order Acceptance
We may not be able to accept your order, or part of your order, if authorisation of your payment has failed, or if we have made a pricing, product description, or item availability error. We will inform you of the details as soon as possible.
